Abstract: Schiff base is synthesized through one-step method by using 1,5-naphthalenediamine and 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroterephthalaldehyde as raw materials under glacial acetic acid catalytic conditions.Two new types of fluorine-containing polymer particles are generated through the reduction and amination of Schiff base,with sodium triacetoxyborohydride as raw materials and dichloromethane as solvent.The polymer is characterized and analyzed by means of FTIR,XRD,SEM,BET and TG.The adsorption performance of methyl orange wastewater by the fluorine-containing polymer microspheres is investigated.The optimum conditions are determined through experiments as follows:the dosage of the adsorbent is 25 mg,the adsorption temperature is 60℃,and the adsorption spends 70 min.Under the optimal conditions,the decolorization rate of methyl orange-containing wastewater by fluorine-containing Schiff base reaches 25%,and reaching 55% after photocatalytic treatment.The decolorization rate of methyl orange by the reduced fluorine-containing amines can exceed 95%.The adsorption isotherms of methyl orange by the reduced fluorine-containing amines can be well fitted with Freundlich model.It is suggested that the fluorine-containing polymer particles can be a potentially efficient adsorbent for wastewater treatment.
