Electrochemical treatment of phenol wastewater and ammoniacal nitrogen wastewater by Fe3+-TiO2@CGS three-dimensional electrode

Abstract: Taking titanium plate as anode,graphite plate as cathode,Fe3+-TiO2 particles loaded on coal gasification slag (Fe3+-TiO2@CGS) as three-dimensional electrode,a three-dimensional electrode reactor is constructed for electrochemical treatment of phenol wastewater and ammoniacal nitrogen wastewater.The effects of wastewater pH,current intensity and particle input on the removal of COD and NH3-N are investigated.Experimental results show that the removal rate of COD reaches 42.3% when pH=3,current intensity is 1.2 A,and particle input is 3 g.The removal rate of NH3-N in ammoniacal nitrogen wastewater can reach 67.5% as pH=7,current intensity is 1.0 A,and particle input is 3 g.
