Application project case of ammonia stripping crystallization technology in treatment of landfill leachate

Abstract: A certain domestic garbage landfill leachate treatment project case in China is introduced, which mainly uses the ammonia stripping crystallization-A/O-membrane-electro-oxidation process.It has been proved by practical operation that the process is a reasonable route selected, and operates stably and reliably.After the treatment by the process, the effluent can meet China's "Domestic Garbage Landfill Pollution Control Standards"(GB 16889—2008) Table 2 emission standards.Ammonia stripping crystallization can effectively remove more than 70% ammoniacal nitrogen in landfill leachate, and the generated ammonium sulfate product can be sold out, which reduces and recycle the landfill leachate.The project case can provide a reference for the selection of the process route for the treatment of similar landfill leachate.
