Honeycomb molding process of ZSM-5 molecular sieves and adsorption to toluene

Abstract: In order to solve the problems that the coating layer of coating-type catalyst is easy to fall off and difficult to recover,monolithic ZSM-5 honeycomb molecular sieves are prepared through blending extrusion method by using ZSM-5 molecular sieves as a matrix,and adding with binder,aphthalocyanine powder and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.Characterization by XRD and BET and toluene adsorption-desorption experiments show that ZSM-5 honeycomb molecular sieves prepared by using silica sol as binder has higher relative crystallinity,excellent mechanical properties,good hydrophobicity and better adsorption performance to toluene than activated carbon.
