Study on hydroconversion process for inferior FCC diesel

Abstract: Hydro-conversion experiments are carried out with high aromatic content inferior FCC diesel as feedstocks,the effects of system pressure,cracking temperature,refining depth and operation mode on the hydro-conversion process are investigated.The results show that as the system pressure increases,the yields of light naphtha and heavy naphtha increase obviously,but that of modified diesel decreases correspondingly;as the cracking temperature increases,the yield of gasoline fraction increases obviously and octane number increases slightly,while cetane number of diesel fraction increases firstly and decreases then;when nitrogen content of refined oil is controlled at 35 μg·g-1,the quality of product obtained by hydro-conversion process is the best and the octane number of gasoline fraction exceeds 90,which is a high-quality clean high octane number gasoline blending component.Considering the product quality,the partial cycle operation is the best way,which can generate gasoline fraction with an octane number over 90 and clean diesel fraction with a cetane number of about 45.Hydro-conversion process is an excellent route for high value-added utilization of inferior FCC diesel.
