Abstract: China has an increasing resource of cracking C9 fractions as China's ethylene capacity soared in recent years.This paper introduces the current situation and development trend of China's C9 production chain.Exploiting the value-added potential in processing deeply C9 fractions and increasing the added value of C9 fractions play an important role in improving the competitiveness of ethylene production via naphtha steam cracking.At present,the downstream products through processing cracking C9 fractions are homogenized seriously in China.Each enterprise is suggested to strengthen the integration and utilization of resources according to the properties of C9 fractions it holds and the conditions of market it locates,and pay attention to the development of comprehensive utilization technology and the design of downstream production chain in order to achieve differentiated development among C9 fractions processing companies.
