Two commercial ultraviolet (UV)-curable acrylate hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives (HMPSAs) were used to investigate the effects of blending ratio on adhesive properties under different UV-curing conditions,as well as the modification effect of tackifying resins. The results showed that the crosslinking degree increased with increasing blending ratio and irradiation energy, but was only slightly affected by irradiation intensity.Initial tack and peel strength were significantly influenced by blending ratio and irradiation energy, whereas holding time was mainly determined by blending ratio.Mechanical properties were essentially independent of irradiation intensity. After blending with hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated tackifying resins, the UV-curable acrylate HMPSAs showed different trends in mechanical properties.Tackifying resins significantly affected adhesive performance:at a resin content of 10%,initial tack and peel strength increased, while holding time continuously decreased with increasing resin content.
