Platelet α-Al₂O₃ is a fine inorganic chemical with huge application prospects and high added value.Over the past few decades,researchers have developed various methods for preparing platelet alumina,such as molten salt method and solid-state sintering method,and optimized them for different application scenarios and performance requirements.This article reviews the current research status and development trends of platelet alumina,in order to provide references for preparation,performance optimization,and market application.The development direction of platelet alumina is also predicted.
