Abstract
This paper introduces the technological background,flora basis and metabolic pathway for the production of methane,through methanogens,by bio-transformation of CO2 that is geologically stored in oil reservoirs.It also discusses the influencing factors such as flora structure,environmental conditions and nutrient ratio,reviews the relevant experiments of the original/exogenous microorganisms,and studies the technical feasibility,which can offer a reference for the future development and potential implementation of this technology.
