摘要
白炭黑存在大量的表面羟基,在橡胶中不易分散,从而影响其应用性能。利用CTAB和KH570对白炭黑进行协同改性,考察添加剂质量分数、反应温度、反应时间、pH对白炭黑性能的影响,采用XRD、FT-IR、TEM等对白炭黑进行表征。结果表明,在CTAB质量分数为4%、KH570质量分数为10%、反应温度为65℃、反应时间为1.5 h、pH为6时,改性后的白炭黑表面羟基数最少,达2.02个/nm2,活化度达100%。此外,用作丁苯橡胶补强时,磨耗体积下降,耐磨性能增加,硫化门尼黏度降低。
Abstract
There are a lot of surface hydroxyl groups in silica.But silica is difficult to disperse in rubber,which affects its application.In this study,CTAB and KH570 are used to modify silica synergistically.The impacts of the dosage of additives (KH570 and CTAB),reaction temperature,reaction time,and pH on the properties of silica are studied.Modified silica is characterized via X-ray diffraction (XRD),FT-IR,transmission electron microscopy (TEM),and so on.The results show that the number of surface hydroxyl groups on the modified silica can reach 2.02 nm-2 at least and the biggest activation degree can reach 100% when the dosages of CTAB and KH570 are 4% and 10%,respectively,the reaction temperature is at 65℃,reaction lasts for 1.5 h,and PH value is 6.In addition,if the modified silica is used as a reinforcing agent for styrene-butadiene rubber,the abrasion volume of the rubber can be reduced,the wear resistance and the processing property can be improved,and the vulcanization time can be shortened.
