Hydrofining of ethylene tar is carried out in a small fixed bed hydrogenation reactor to produce clean gasoline and diesel. In the hydrogenation process, the reaction temperature is set in the range of 360-420℃,the reaction pressure is in the array of 6-15 MPa,the space velocity is between 0.3 h-1 and 2.0 h-1 and the ratio of hydrogen to oil is 1 600-2 000:1.The hydrogenated products are further separated through atmospheric and vacuum distillation to obtain gasoline fractions (≤ 180℃) and diesel fractions (>180℃).Gasoline and diesel fractions account for 22.7% and 77.3% of the total volume respectively. The distillation range of diesel oil is shorter (180-212℃),and can be used as a gasoline blending component with gasoline fractions.
