摘要
以厌氧污泥为接种微生物构建H型双室微生物燃料电池,考察不同电极材料(碳纸和碳布)对微生物燃料电池(MFC)产电性能的影响。结果表明,采用碳布为电极材料的MFC启动更快,18 h达到稳定,但在稳定期采用碳纸为电极材料比采用碳布为电极材料的MFC电压高出20 mV左右。采用碳布电极材料的MFC在启动初期的最大功率密度为4.7 mW/m2,内阻为1 782 Ω;采用碳纸电极材料的MFC在启动初期的最大功率密度为8.5 mW/m2,内阻为1 125 Ω,且驯化结束后稳定期的电压(313 mV)比碳布电极材料的MFC(282 mV)高,故MFC电极材料采用碳纸的产电效果优于碳布。
Abstract
H-type two-cell microbial fuel cell is constructed by using anaerobic sludge as inoculation microorganism and the effect of different electrode materials (carbon paper and carbon cloth) on the electrical performance of microbial fuel cell (MFC) is investigated.Research shows that MFC with carbon cloth-based electrode starts faster and achieve stability in 18 h.However,in the stationary phase,MFC with carbon paper electrode can export a voltage higher by about 20 mV than that with carbon cloth electrode.MFC with a carbon cloth electrode has a maximum power density of 4.7 mW·m-2 and an internal resistance of 1 782 Ω at the initial stage of startup.The data for MFC with a carbon paper electrode are 8.5 mW·m-2 and 1 125 Ω,respectively.After the acclimatization,the voltage during stationary phase of MFC with a carbon paper electrode is 313 mV,higher than the 282 mV of MFC with a carbon cloth electrode.Therefore,in the light of power generation efficiency,carbon paper is superior to carbon cloth as electrode material for MFC.
