混合硝酸盐低温熔融PVDF剥离锂离子电池正极材料的研究
Stripping cathode materials from lithium-ion batteries using low-temperature molten nitrate salts to remove PVDF
为提高退役锂离子电池正极材料的剥离回收效率、降低能耗,将熔融盐体系引入剥离工艺中。利用熔融盐流动性与储热性能熔融粘结剂聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF),实现正极材料的低温绿色剥离。研究了硝酸盐组合、配比、焙烧时间、焙烧温度等因素对正极材料剥离效果的影响,结果表明:混合硝酸盐KNO3、LiNO3摩尔比52∶48,焙烧温度165℃,焙烧时间30 min,与正极材料质量比20∶1时,剥离率为93.07%。同时,阐明了混合硝酸盐发生物相转变进而促进PVDF低温剥离的机理。
To improve the exfoliation recovery efficiency and reduce energy consumption of cathode materials from spent lithium-ion batteries,a molten salt system was introduced into the exfoliation process of lithium-ion battery cathode materials.Utilizing the fluidity and thermal energy storage properties of molten salts,the binder polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was melted,achieving low-temperature and environmentally friendly exfoliation of cathode materials.The effects of various factors,including different nitrate combinations,ratios,calcination time,and calcination temperature,on the exfoliation efficiency were investigated.The results showed that when the molar ratio of KNO3 to LiNO3 was 52∶48,the calcination temperature was 165℃,the calcination time was 30 min,and the mass ratio of mixed nitrate to cathode materials was 20∶1,the exfoliation efficiency reached 93.07%.Furthermore,the mechanism by which the mixed nitrate undergoes phase transformation to promote low-temperature PVDF exfoliation was elucidated.
