Research progress of heterogeneous catalysts for the direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from CO2
直接利用二氧化碳(CO2)与甲醇(CH3OH)合成碳酸二甲酯(DMC)是一种绿色生产工艺,可有效降低碳排放。分析了CO2直接合成DMC热力学限制;着重介绍非均相催化剂在直接合成DMC中的应用;探讨了此反应平衡移动策略及铈基氧化物催化剂表面反应机理。最后提出未来研究方向应集中于温和条件下反应物的活化、构建高活性催化剂和优化反应平衡调控策略。
The direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) from carbon dioxide (CO2) and methanol (CH3OH) is a green manufacturing process,which can effectively reduce carbon emissions.This review analyzed the thermodynamic limitations of the direct synthesis of DMC from CO2,highlighted the application of heterogeneous catalysts in this reaction,and discussed strategies for shifting the reaction equilibrium and the surface reaction mechanism over cerium-based oxide catalysts.Finally,it proposes future research directions focusing on the activation of reactants under mild conditions,the development of highly active catalysts,and the optimization of reaction equilibrium control strategies.
