The types of flame retardants are summarized.The mechanism,research progress and advantages of halogen-free flame retardants containing P,N,Si and B elements are introduced.The application and existing shortcomings of flame retardants containing N and P elements are analyzed,and the application advantages of Si series and B series flame retardants are summarized.Research and development of halogen-free flame retardant in the future are prospected.
