摘要

采用二次水热法合成了Co3O4/三维石墨烯气凝胶(3DGA)复合材料正极,并对其进行电化学分析。结果表明,Co3O4/3DGA具有比3DGA更高的OER催化活性。Co3O4/3DGA正极应用于铝空气电池时,在0.2 mA/cm2的电流密度下电池可至少循环80次,使用3DGA正极的电池只能循环64次,而且Co3O4/3DGA正极可以显著降低电池的充电电压。Co3O4/3DGA的ORR/OER双功能催化活性是提高铝空气电池性能的主要因素。

Abstract

Rechargeable aluminum-air battery has recently attracted attention due to its high bulk energy density, low cost and safety in use.Co3O4/three-dimensional graphene aerogel (3DGA) composite cathode is synthesized by using a secondary hydrothermal method.Electrochemical analysis show that Co3O4/3DGA has higher OER catalytic activity than 3DGA.The aluminum air battery assembled with Co3O4/3DGA cathode can be cycled at least 80 times at a current density of 0.2 mA·cm-2, while the battery assembled with 3DGA cathode can only be cycled 64 times.Moreover, Co3O4/3DGA cathode can significantly reduce the charging voltage of the battery.The ORR/OER bifunctional catalytic activity of Co3O4/3DGA is the main factor improving the performance of aluminum air battery.
