新奥新能能源有限公司60万t/a甲醇精馏项目为实现扩产改造，加压塔采用69层浮阀塔盘替换原设计的填料，开车后出现处理能力小、塔板压降大、精醇中乙醇含量高、塔板托液甚至液泛，严重影响正常生产。分析了形成这些现象的原因，并提出了改造思路及新塔盘的设计理念。将原加压塔提馏段10层浮阀塔盘全部更换为低返混均效喷射塔盘，改造后处理能力达到76万t/a，产品达到国标优级品，整塔压降由100 kPa降至55 kPa，蒸汽消耗明显降低。

In order to expand and renovate its 600 000 ton/year methanol distillation project,ENN Group Xinneng Energy Co.,Ltd.has replaced the existing fillers in the pressured tower by 69 layer valve trays.When the project starts up after renovation,some abnormal phenomena happens,including insufficient capacity,over-high tray pressure drop,high ethanol percentage in product,high liquid hold up on tray even flooding and so on,which all impact the operation.The reasons for these abnormal phenomena are analyzed,the further modifying ideas and the design philosophy of new tray are also put forward.Low back-mixing equal efficiency spray trays are used to replace 10 layers of valve trays in stripping section of the pressured tower.After the further modification,the capacity of the project reaches 760 000 ton/year and the product quality can meet China's superior grade GB standard requirement.Besides,the whole tower pressure drop reduces to 55 KPa from 100 KPa and the steam consumption decreases significantly.
