摘要

采用浸轧法在棉织物表面构建了六偏磷酸钠(PSP)/氢氧化镁(MH)二元阻燃层,再通过物理吸附在纤维表面包覆隔热性良好的二氧化硅胶体颗粒,制备出PSP/MH/SiO2三元阻燃棉,并对其阻燃机理进行了探讨。通过SEM和XRD对纤维形貌、结构进行了表征;采用TG、微型量热仪(MCC)、LOI、垂直燃烧测试(VFT)对阻燃织物的热稳定性能进行了分析。测试结果表明,构筑的PSP/MH/SiO2三元阻燃棉织物表现出良好的自熄、阻燃性能,体系的LOI达到31%,其峰值热释放速率(PHRR)和总热释放量(THR)分别为52.541 kW/m2和0.92 MJ/m2,残炭率达到40.1%。

Abstract

Magnesium hydroxide (MH)/sodium polyphosphates (PSP),a bilayer of flame retardant,is constructed on the surface of cotton fabrics by using pad rolling method.Then,PSP/MH/SiO2 ternary flame retardant cotton fabrics is prepared by coating silicon dioxide colloidal particles with good heat insulation performance on the surface of cotton fabrics through physical adsorption method.The flame retardant mechanism of the ternary material is further discussed,its structure and morphology are measured by SEM and XRD,and its thermal stability are analyzed by means of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA),microscale combustion calorimeter (MCC),limiting oxygen index (LOI) and vertical flame testing (VFT).The results indicate that the as-prepared PSP/MH/SiO2 ternary flame retardant cotton fabrics shows self-extinguish and flame-retardant performances with a LOI value of 31%.What's more,its peak heat release rate (PHRR) and total heat release (THR) is 52.541 kW·m-2 and 0.92 MJ·m-2 respectively,and the rate of char residue is 40.1%.
