Abstract: The differential pressure heat integration technology and the heat pump distillation technology are respectively employed to reduce the energy consumption in the trichlorosilane distillation section.Both two processes with alternative energy-saving technology are optimized and simulated by means of Aspen Plus software and NRTL-RK thermodynamic model.It is found through comparing with conventional distillation process that the differential pressure heat integration technology can reduce the energy consumption in heating by 47% and cut down the consumption of cold energy by 45%;the heat pump distillation technology can decrease the energy consumption in heating by 50%,decrease the consumption of cold energy by 50% and increase the power of the compressor by about 73.5 kW.
