Abstract: The sintering flue gas desulfurization efficiency via spray drying absorption (SDA) method is closely related to the activity of lime slurry.In order to improve desulfurization efficiency by changing the hydration conditions of quicklime,the effects of agitation intensity,initial water temperature for hydration,value of m(H2O)/m(CaO) on the hydration activity of quicklime and sintering flue gas desulfurization efficiency are investigated.Results show that the flue gas desulfurization efficiency can reach 92.5% when the agitation speed is 250 r·min-1,initial water temperature is 25℃and m(H2O)/m(CaO)=6:1.
